Dear Miron, I just wanted to thank you for everything you have done for me Miron. Your technique, philosophy, passion is one of a kind, people do not realize how lucky there are to be coached by you. I know that I could not have won state without being coached by you. I truly believe in the Russian style that you coach, and it showed ever since my first camp with you. In the wrestling room you are my coach but outside your like a father and always have been. You are a part of my family. I promise to give you everything that I have to offer and you have done the same for me. Thank you for everything from the bottom of my heart, I couldn’t have done it without you. Now lets go get a National Championship! Johney Hooper, Colorado State Champion Thank you Miron !

Thank-You Miron for your influence on our family. The "trickle down effect" is in full operation between my brother and I. You've trained my brother for the last few years ,and as a result , he has developed from a good wrestler to a great wrestler! I recently won the girls State championship for my bracket (USGWA), and am looking forward to competing in the National Championships Mar. 30, 31, and April 1. My brother Jordan coaches me and has taught me most of what I know. Thank- you too for allowing me to come and train personally with you and the other pre-Tulsa wrestlers. Jordan and I currently wrestle for our Jr. HIgh team in Kentwood, MI....He is undefeated (unscored on) and I am currently 10 and 1 at my weight (against boys!) Your work ethic, training, and influence has helped him tremendously, and as a result, has helped me. I hope to come and train before Nationals...Thank-you again for EVERYTHING! Marian Bosma, age 14

Miron, they did it! Cinco Ranch High School won the UIL State Wrestling Championships! Cinco was the only team to have 2 champions. Jamie won the 145# bracket by pinning undefeated CyFair wrestler, Michael Murray! Matt Harris became the back to back champion by winning at 160#. But, that was not enough to take the state title...next up at 171, the team needed a win from Will Morris and he came through. Still, not enough, as the team was down by 2. Final wrestler up was Big John Gioffre! He needed to win his 5th place match for Cinco to do it...and, in OT he did just that! To cap the night off, Coach McConn was voted Assistant Coach of the Year! Cinco Ranch had a great weekend! With all that said, I just wanted to give you a big thank you from the bottom of my heart. Jamie's training with you over the years has help to make him who he is on and off the mat. Jeff and I are very proud of him! Not to mention, is you taking time from your very busy schedule to do your annual camp here in Katy, Texas and that is an extremely important ingrediant to Cinco bringing home the gold! Your instruction and training helped the wrestlers to obtain their goals! Thank you!!!! PS...Big John is aiming to win his own individual state title next year and lead the team to defend this honor....and, wants you here this summer again! Jamie Sheets - 2x Texas State Champion
